Hi everyone!

Thank you for dropping by on this blog. It’s been a while since my last blog post update, and I’m excited to share the significant progress we’ve made since then.

Following the advancements of Sprint 13, where we elevated user experience with real-time features, our team has continued to make significant strides in the subsequent sprints.

Sprints 14 and 15 Highlights

Process Enhancement

We focused on refining our processes to ensure a more accurate procurement process and experience with our users soon. This involves incorporating Accreditation module and booking process.

Field Refinement: We’ve made substantial updates to the fields within our platform, ensuring they meet user needs and improve overall functionality.

Backend Logic Integration: One of our key achievements was the successful integration of backend logic, which is crucial for our real-time pricing feature in the procurement platform.

Retrospective session: One of the scrum events that I applied in our dev team which helps us to gather insights for areas of improvement throughout the development process.

Internal Sprint Review

After we concluded and inspected the features or increments outlined in the sprint 15, the team conducted a internal sprint review to check those features and determine the areas that needs to be improved and to assess the next focus on the upcoming sprints. The attached video is a short clip of how we conducted the internal sprint review.

Current Focus: Hardening Sprint

We are now embarking on our first hardening sprint, a critical phase dedicated to:

Addressing Technical Debt: Cleaning up and optimizing our codebase to ensure long-term maintainability.

Bug Fixing: Resolving any issues that have been identified to enhance the stability and performance of the platform.

Meeting Definition of Done: Ensuring all sprint backlog items meet our strict criteria for completion. This hardening sprint is essential for ensuring that the increments from the previous sprints are polished, stable, and ready for deployment. By addressing technical debt, fixing bugs, and performing rigorous integration testing, we aim to deliver a high-quality, reliable procurement platform that meets our users’ needs.

Thank you for dropping by to check on this blog post. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides in developing a robust and reliable procurement platform.

Cheers!
